The main objective...

... of the MESSE project is reinforcing and improving the effectiveness of regional policies in supporting and promoting socially responsible economic development, through identification, analysis, benchmarking and dissemination of best practices in legal, tax and operational instruments adopted by public authorities for enhancing the Social Economy. Within the newly proposed Europe 2020, the European Parliament has identified a need to promote the development of this sector, via the strengthening of the cooperation between public institutions, social enterprises and for profit companies.

PRESS about MESSE conference in Sofia

Deputy Mayor of Sofia municipality Mrs. Albena Atanasova opened the 3rd MESSE interregional conference titled "Supporting structures for Social Enterprises development" within the project "Mechanism for increasing interaction between business and sustainable development / MESSE /" co-funded by INTERREG IV C of European Union.

MESSE Well Represented at the INTERREG IVC Capitalisation Workshop

 On 22 May 2014 this year's INTERREG IVC Thematic Capitalisation Event took place in Brussels, Belgium. Several representatives of the MESSE project took part in the one-day event. The event entitled "Policy sharing, policy learning" aimed at giving an overview of the latest policy trends and best practices available from all around Europe. A total number of twelve workshops dealt with the main topics of more than 200 interregional projects that have been running over the last seven years, one of which was Entrepreneurship.
